Patch

I adore the fur on this 11" scrappy bear. The color has a faint hint of green that makes it near impossible to match, but "shopping" in my studio I found this vintage wool I was gifted years ago and it works perfectly!

The eye is a German hand made glass but I'm more in love with the vintage button for the other eye!

the natural wear on it belays the history it might have had on an old coat, or sweater. 

Patch is double cotter pin jointed which give him a lovely floppy habit.

His belly button almost gets lost in the photos, but that is quite possible the oldest button I've ever used.

I'm pretty sure it was hand carved!
